Knowing this car was the first Porsche to sport DFI got me bonus points during training. Then the question was rephrased to ask what first road going Porsche sported DFI. I love this car as it was so freaking fast and sounded just perfect.

And this car is a 997 GT3 RSR that ran a little bit differently from the cars seen in the ALMS and at Le Mans as they ran with less engine restriction. They had much more power and more downforce (as they ran a different aero package to the ACO homologated one).

If I recall correctly, this car had a lot of support from Weissah behind the scenes to ensure it won.

Oh, yes it is! The GT3-H seen below is definitely in that group. Apparently, they really wanted to race the car as a Garage 56 entry at Le Mans and were flatly, and directly, denied as the ACO did not want a GT3 Hybrid to outclass the “superior” GT2/GTE cars at Le Mans.

Each event they inquired about gave them the same response, therefore the car is in the museum.
